Job Description: We are looking for a Container Unloader to join our team. The primary responsibility will be devanning (unloading) shipping containers, ensuring that goods are safely and efficiently removed and organized. This role requires physical strength and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and organize goods from shipping containers
- Inspect goods for any damage during transportation
- Operate forklifts or other machinery if certified (optional)
- Keep a clean and organized workspace
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Previous experience in devanning or warehouse operations preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
